Follow in your footsteps

This is my second entry for the spitfire fathers day contest! I feel like the relationship between Bambi and the Prince of the Forest are exactly what father and son should be. Bambi's father shows up in his moment of need to care for and protect Bambi and raise him so that one day he will be as successful as himself. He cares deeply for Bambi, properly ensuring that one day he can take the throne as Prince of the Forest. He even goes above and beyond to fill in for the place of Bambi's mother.

This piece means a lot to me as my mother left me when I was 8, but my father raised me into the person I am today and I couldn't be more grateful, Happy Father's Day!
